I’m Vikram Ramakrishnan, a Tamil-American writer and computer programmer. My short stories come in all shapes and sizes; I’ve written about family and VR, growth and change in dystopic futures, and what happens when a 19th century British East India officer meets a demon from the Mahabharata. (Hilarity and horror ensue.) All my writing is available here.

This newsletter, dont-forget-to-be-human, shares more of my writing, highlights its background research, and muses on—per its namesake—remembering to be human as great swathes of change wash up around us.

I hope you will enjoy musing with me too.

In the meantime, tell your friends!
